The motorbikes in Burnout Paradise are awesome! If only the cars are as reponsive as the bikes.

Just came back from a ...
Just came back from a long long trip from Fremont to Anaheim, CA and back.
Started at about Saturday 5AM in the morning, and reached there around 12PM. Went to Disneyland till midnight and start the drive back to Fremont. Slept for 3 hours in the car at a closed McDonalds at Groman.
Reached the Hotel at Fremont around Sunday 9 AM. Total sleep time, possibly 4 hours, I think. I am tired!
Notes:
* Disneyland is just an over glorified, and extremely expensive theme park. Yeah my daughter loves it to death, but really, USD$200 for 2 adults and 1 child costs too much! Oh, and the $12 parking, is that even necessary?
* I wished I had gone to LegoLand instead :)
* Sucks to be the only driver in the family
* The Chevrolet Impala is a nice car that goes over 100mph without any hickups, shakes or rattles, too bad the cruise control cut off is at 105mph :)
* Thank god for cruise control!
* I am tired.
* I am tired!

Flying to San Francisco in ...
Flying to San Francisco in like 12 hours from now. I now feel greatly stressed as I've not packed up yet. Gonna have a hell of a time for over two weeks :)
I might be driving to LA during one of the weekends just for kicks, if I don't feel lazy that is.
Does anyone know where I can drive up to, to hang out and have some fun, enjoy scenery, etc? Suggestions welcomed.

Not as screwed up as ...
Not as screwed up as what people are paying over in the US. And there's even a plan for those who rather not pay so much a month. i.e. a $20 plan for those willing to fork out around $888 for the iPhone 3G.

Just finished Metal Gear Solid ...
Just finished Metal Gear Solid 4. Clocked in at 6 minutes short of 17 hours. I have no idea what to say about this game. Hideo Kojima seem to want to make a movie, instead of a game. So he disguised this by adding a wee bit of gameplay and called it an epic game. No one sane will go thru an insane length movie like this in one go.
Somehow, I felt like I've only played about 6 hours or so, and the rest are movie footage, they can't really be called cutscenes. And the ending, god, the ending really felt like 2 and a half hours passed by.
I do enjoy it, but still have no idea what to call it. A game? A movie? The weirdest story one has ever heard of?

PSN Trophies? Hmm, way to ...
PSN Trophies? Hmm, way to put some jargon into what essentially is a numbered system, like the Xbox Live Gamer Score. Terms include, bronze, silver, gold, and the 100% platinum. Add them all up and you gain a "level". Not sure if it's dumbing things down or increasing the complexity way up.

Back from a no tech ...
Back from a no tech holiday in Perth. Wow, didn't know I missed so much from over a week of no internet.
While I do sometimes feel the need to go to McDonalds just to use the paid Wifi, I resisted the urge, and overall, it's a relief as there's no distractions outside of the real life I'm enjoying.
It's not really a pure non-tech holiday though, bought Lego Indiana Jones on the day it came out. EB Games was selling it at $6 (SGD) more than what I would of paid for it in Singapore, so it's a good deal. My daughter was stuck with it for quite a while.
Lego Indy, however, is a battery drainer compared to Lego Star Wars, as it seems to load up a lot more data, and cutscenes and game levels took a while longer to load.
